World Taekwondo has confirmed that the 2026 World Junior Taekwondo Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan will proceed as scheduled. The federation also announced that the WT Executive Council meeting and General Assembly will take place in Tashkent without any changes, reinforcing stability and ensuring that both the competition and key governance meetings will occur as planned.
The Chilean Taekwondo Federation is currently without official leadership after its board’s term expired in October 2025 and court action suspended new elections, leaving the organization in an institutional vacuum.
