The Dracula Open returns to Bucharest this weekend, with Cadets opening three days of international Kyorugi at Sala Polivalentă before the Seniors compete for G1 medals and World Taekwondo ranking points on Sunday.
The 15th edition runs from 23–25 October. Friday belongs to the Cadets, followed by Juniors on Saturday and Seniors on the final day.
The opening-day draws include athletes representing Qatar, Jordan and Côte d’Ivoire alongside the European entries, bringing opposition from beyond Europe to the Cadet competition.
Friday and Saturday each feature Class A and Class B contests. The event outline makes an important distinction between them: Class B carries no international ranking points.
Each age group has a full day scheduled for its preliminary rounds, semifinals and finals. Competition is due to start at 09:00 on all three days, with medal ceremonies in the evening.
