Brazil’s Maria Clara Pacheco heads into the Paris 2026 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Series seeking a sweep of this season’s three women’s −57kg series titles.
Her first two golds followed 2–0 final wins over Korea’s reigning Olympic champion Yu-Jin Kim. After winning at the Roma 2026 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Series, Pacheco prevailed again at the Muju Taekwondowon 2026 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Series, taking the final’s rounds 5–0 and 8–2. Both athletes are listed for Paris, but the draw and their progress will determine whether they meet again.
Hosted by the French Taekwondo Federation and the municipality, the competition takes place at Palais des Sports Marcel-Cerdan in Levallois-Perret from 9–11 October. The announced kyorugi field comprises 253 athletes, including 13 gold medalists from the earlier stops. Women’s −57kg is scheduled for 10 October, with competition information and results available to follow on TAEKWONDO.TV’s tournament page.
The men’s −80kg title has changed hands between stages: Spain’s Juan Antonio Milán Cánovas won in Rome, before Belarus’s Raman Turavinau took gold in Muju. That division is scheduled for the closing day, 11 October.
Paris concludes the series stops ahead of the Astana World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final 2026 in November.
