Authoritative version: This English-language policy governs TTV's United States DMCA process. Any translation is provided for convenience only.
TTV Holdings LLC, doing business as TTV and TAEKWONDO.TV ("TTV," "we," "our," or "us"), respects the intellectual property rights of others. This policy explains how copyright owners and their authorized representatives may report alleged infringement and how affected users may submit counter-notifications.
TTV is an independent digital sports platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to World Taekwondo (WT), the European Taekwondo Union (ETU), any national federation, or another governing body unless expressly stated.
1. Platform and Covered Material
TTV presents competition results, athlete profiles, rankings, event information, news, related media links, user comments, and other user-submitted or profile-related content. Some material may be stored at the direction of users, while other material may link or refer to third-party locations.
TTV does not claim ownership of third-party media, event branding, federation marks, or other material owned by rights holders. If you believe material available on or through TTV infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the designated agent below.
2. Copyright Takedown Notices
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a notification of claimed infringement must be a written communication that substantially includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or, if multiple works at one online location are covered, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, together with information reasonably sufficient for TTV to locate it, such as the exact URL.
- Information reasonably sufficient for TTV to contact the complaining party, such as a mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Notices that do not substantially comply may be ineffective. When appropriate, TTV may contact the sender to help obtain missing information.

The designated-agent information above is intended to match TTV's active designation in the U.S. Copyright Office directory. Copyright notices and counter-notifications should be sent to this agent. Messages about privacy, result corrections, athlete identity, safety, trademarks, or general support should use the appropriate TTV reporting or support channel instead.
4. TTV's Response to Notices
Upon receiving a substantially compliant notification, TTV will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material claimed to be infringing. TTV will take reasonable steps to notify the user who supplied the affected material and may provide that user with a copy of the notice, including the complaining party's contact information.
TTV may also remove or disable access to material when it has actual knowledge of infringement or becomes aware of facts or circumstances from which infringing activity is apparent. Section 512 does not require TTV to affirmatively monitor its service for infringement.
5. Counter-Notifications
If material you supplied was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send the designated agent a written counter-notification that substantially includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which TTV may be found.
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notification or that person's agent.
After receiving a substantially compliant counter-notification, TTV will promptly provide a copy to the original complaining party and inform that party that TTV will restore the material or cease disabling access to it. TTV will do so not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification unless the designated agent first receives notice that the complaining party has filed an action seeking a court order restraining the user from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material. TTV may continue to restrict material for an independent violation of law or TTV policy.
6. Repeat Infringers and Technical Measures
TTV has adopted and reasonably implements a policy providing for termination, in appropriate circumstances, of subscribers and account holders who are repeat infringers. Depending on the circumstances, TTV may suspend or terminate accounts, restrict posting or profile-editing access, reject submissions, or remove content.
TTV accommodates and does not interfere with standard technical measures that satisfy the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
7. Competition Data and Third-Party Rights
Facts such as event dates, athlete participation, match outcomes, scores, and rankings may not themselves be protected by copyright in some jurisdictions. Copyright may nevertheless protect original text, photographs, video, graphics, database selection or arrangement, and other original expression. TTV evaluates each sufficiently detailed copyright notice on its own facts.
All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. The DMCA process addresses copyright claims and is not the appropriate procedure for most trademark, privacy, identity, safety, or data-correction requests.
8. Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for resulting damages, costs, and attorneys' fees.
9. Section 512 Position
TTV has designated an agent and maintains this notice-and-takedown process as part of its efforts to comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512. Registration of an agent does not by itself determine eligibility for any limitation on liability; applicability depends on satisfaction of all relevant statutory requirements. Nothing in this policy waives any rights, remedies, defenses, or limitations on liability available to TTV.
10. Policy Updates
TTV may update this policy and its designated-agent information. The information published here and in the Copyright Office directory should remain current and consistent. The Last Updated date identifies the latest revision of this policy.
